Contact Tagwisp support
Email [email protected] with the subject “Tagwisp Support”. Include your iPhone model, iOS and app version, tag type, the action you attempted and what happened. Remove personal records and credentials from screenshots.
Reading and writing tags
Tagwisp requires a compatible NFC-enabled iPhone running iOS 26 or later. Start an NFC action in the app and hold the top of your iPhone near one tag. Remove thick or metal cases if needed. Tag support depends on its technology, format and access permissions.
For everyday writing, use a writable NDEF tag with enough capacity. Tagwisp checks capacity and reads content back to verify a write. A failed or interrupted verification is not a confirmed successful write. Try Read to inspect the actual contents before retrying. Permanent locking cannot be undone; use a spare test tag.
Tagwisp Pro and restoring purchases
Everyday NDEF reading, writing, raw records, capacity checks, write verification and basic history/templates are free. Advanced decoders and the Pro workbench require one permanent in-app purchase. There is no subscription.
Open Tools, then Tagwisp Pro, and choose Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple Account that owns the purchase. Initial purchase and explicit restore require Apple connectivity. If the product or price is unavailable, check connectivity and retry. Purchases and refunds are managed by Apple.
Local records and deletion
Tag records stay in the app on your iPhone. Delete saved items in Library, remove attached photos in tag details, clear your Write draft, or discard a batch to remove its local queue. Exported files and device backups are separate copies that you manage at their destination. Record-only NDEF/JSON exports do not include library photos or organization details.
Compatibility and specialist tools
Pro does not provide universal tag compatibility, bypass access protections, clone protected access cards or enable unrestricted card emulation. Specialist formats depend on the tag, country and layout. Payment, HCE and secure-element integrations require separate Apple eligibility and configuration and are not activated by a Pro purchase.
