Your NFC data
Tagwisp reads and writes NFC tags when you start an NFC action. It can also receive NDEF records delivered by iOS after you choose a compatible background tag notification. Tag records may contain websites, text, contacts, network credentials, and other data you choose to read or write.
Local storage
Tagwisp stores scan history, templates, notes, favorites, and the current message draft within the app on your iPhone. The app does not upload this information to a developer server or synchronize it through CloudKit. Your operating system's device backup settings may include app data in a backup.
Photos and organization
Library collections, locations and optional photos you select are also stored locally. Selected photos are resized and re-encoded without source photo metadata; Tagwisp does not enumerate your photo library. Imported CSV batches and their writing progress stay in local app storage and may contain credentials from your input. Record-only NDEF/JSON exports do not include library photos or organization details.
Optional feedback
Feedback is optional and user initiated. You can preview a report before copying it or choosing a destination in the system share sheet. Optional diagnostics include app/OS version, device class, NFC availability and session category, but exclude tag identifiers, record payloads, photos, notes and raw error messages. Nothing is sent automatically. A batch progress export includes row names, tag identifiers and results, but not record payloads.
No tracking
The app contains no analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking, accounts, or subscription service. It does not request access to your address book or location. Contact and location records are composed from information you enter.
Sharing and links
You may choose to export or share records and QR codes. Shared files include their record contents, including passwords or personal information if those are in the records. Files remain in the location or service you choose until you delete them there. Opening a link uses your chosen app or service and is subject to that service's policies.
Deleting records
Delete saved items from Library. Clear the current message in Write to remove its saved draft contents. Uninstalling the app removes its local container according to iOS behavior; existing exports and operating-system backups are separate.
Deleting photos and batches
Remove a saved photo from its tag details. Discard a batch in Batch writer to remove its local queue and progress. Copies you explicitly share are controlled by the destination you choose.
Documents and keys
Protected travel-document access details and cryptographic keys are used locally for the action you request. Travel-document results are not automatically added to scan history; you can explicitly save the displayed result locally. Access secrets and portrait bytes are not saved by that screen. Sensitive results require an explicit reveal before copying. No remote certificate or catalog lookup is performed by Tagwisp.
Purchases
Apple processes purchases of the optional permanent Tagwisp Pro unlock. Tagwisp checks verified StoreKit entitlements; it does not receive your payment-card details. Purchase and restore connect to Apple. Apple handles its own account and purchase information under its privacy policy.
